What is the purpose of the chest clip?
The chest clip is designed to provide extra support and stability when backpack carrying. You can attach and detach it from your carrier as needed.
It helps keep the shoulder straps securely in place so they don’t slip off your shoulders, making the carrier feel more supportive and comfortable.
Do new orders come with a chest clip?
We are in the process of introducing a chest clip with our carriers, but it may not be included with every order just yet.
Some colorways still have existing inventory that does not include the chest clip, and we are working through that stock first. As we continue production, all carriers will eventually include one.

Is my carrier still safe without a chest clip?
Yes — your carrier is completely safe to use without a chest strap.
For inward facing and world facing, a chest strap is not required at all. The carrier is designed to provide proper support and security on its own.
The chest strap is simply an optional feature for added support when backpack carrying. It helps keep the shoulder straps in place and can make the fit feel more secure, but it isn’t necessary for safe use.
