Hip safety comes down to correct positioning in any carrier, so it is essential to achieve the deep seat or “M” position- with baby’s knees higher than their bum, and weight supported primarily by the bum, rather than under the knees. Check that your baby is in this deep seat position each time you place them in the carrier.

TIGHT
Your carrier should be tight and hug baby close to your body. Ensure that you tighten straps to eliminate extra slack that could cause baby to slump down in the carrier, as this can hinder breathing.
IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES
You should always be able to see your baby’s face by simply glancing down. Do not eclose baby in carrier in such a way that you have to open the carrier to see baby’s face.
CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS
Your baby’s head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. Achieve this by positioning the carrier high on the natural waist. You should be ableto kiss your baby on the head or forehead easily.
KEEP CHIN OFF CHEST
Baby should never be curled in such a way that their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict the airway. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under the chin.
SUPPORTED BACK
In all positions, baby’s back should be supported in a natural C curve, without slumping or arching, and without excess room between baby and wearer

I got this carrier for my second baby. I was needing something I could easily get in and out of myself (something my carrier I used with first baby did not do) and this carrier checks that box. It’s comfortable, quick to put on, and I love the checker pattern I got! I also love the various carrying options, which means I can use this carrier for a long time and adjust as my daughter grows. For this to be one of the most inexpensive options on the market but not cost you in quality is amazing. I will recommend Mabe to all my mama friends moving forward! Bought a Mane monarch after using a solly baby for the newborn phase. My monarch is perfect for this stage, baby is a little bigger and moving more. The comfort level for me is great, and he has adjusted so well! Easy to put on too! Love it!

I love this carrier especially its ease in putting on quickly and how comfortable it is for both me and my baby. It took probably two times to adjust to tightening and finding a fit for my baby but once I got it I can put it on and my baby in in seconds! I can wear it for a long duration and be comfortable too.
My wife registered for his carrier and loves it. One day our puppy got ahold of it and chewed up a couple of the buckles rendering the carrier useless. I contacted Mabe to see about buying some re-placement buckles, but instead they sent us a new carrier altogether. Stellar customer service and a great product.
