HIP SAFETY

Hip safety comes down to correct positioning in any carrier, so it is essential to achieve the deep seat or “M” position- with baby’s knees higher than their bum, and weight supported primarily by the bum, rather than under the knees. Check that your baby is in this deep seat position each time you place them in the carrier.

T.I.C.K.S.

TIGHT

Your carrier should be tight and hug baby close to your body. Ensure that you tighten straps to eliminate extra slack that could cause baby to slump down in the carrier, as this can hinder breathing.

IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES

You should always be able to see your baby’s face by simply glancing down. Do not eclose baby in carrier in such a way that you have to open the carrier to see baby’s face.

CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS

Your baby’s head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. Achieve this by positioning the carrier high on the natural waist. You should be ableto kiss your baby on the head or forehead easily.

KEEP CHIN OFF CHEST

Baby should never be curled in such a way that their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict the airway. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under the chin.

SUPPORTED BACK

In all positions, baby’s back should be supported in a natural C curve, without slumping or arching, and without excess room between baby and wearer

Love the baby carrier and the customer service is amazing. Had a piece broke on my carrier and they sent me a new one. Fits for a newborn and up. I love that straps on the side and criss cross so it feels secure without falling off my shoulders.

Amazing carrier

my favorite carrier!

This carrier is the best i’ve tried so far! The fabric is soft yet sturdy. I love that the bottom portion is adjustable so that your baby can be properly placed in the carrier. It has a thick waist band so you feel very supported while wearing it!

Excellent Customer Service!

I’ve been loving my monarch carrier! When the back of one of the buttons ripped off, I reached out to customer service, and they were so helpful! Not only did they respond quickly, they sent me a new carrier free of charge. Their excellent customer service is a great reason to support this company and go with this carrier!
