HIP SAFETY

Hip safety comes down to correct positioning in any carrier, so it is essential to achieve the deep seat or “M” position- with baby’s knees higher than their bum, and weight supported primarily by the bum, rather than under the knees. Check that your baby is in this deep seat position each time you place them in the carrier.

T.I.C.K.S.

TIGHT

Your carrier should be tight and hug baby close to your body. Ensure that you tighten straps to eliminate extra slack that could cause baby to slump down in the carrier, as this can hinder breathing.

IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES

You should always be able to see your baby’s face by simply glancing down. Do not eclose baby in carrier in such a way that you have to open the carrier to see baby’s face.

CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS

Your baby’s head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. Achieve this by positioning the carrier high on the natural waist. You should be ableto kiss your baby on the head or forehead easily.

KEEP CHIN OFF CHEST

Baby should never be curled in such a way that their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict the airway. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under the chin.

SUPPORTED BACK

In all positions, baby’s back should be supported in a natural C curve, without slumping or arching, and without excess room between baby and wearer

I am a huge fan of baby wearing and decided to treat myself to a new carrier for baby 2. I am SO happy with this purchase. So far I've only used for my newborn but it is just such a huge difference from all the other carriers I've used.

What we needed!

Love this carrier

I love this carrier so much! It is so comfortable and easy to put on my myself which is really important to me. My only complaint is that it doesn’t fold down slightly lower for my baby’s head to be a little more exposed. I can only really put her in it when I want or am ok with her going to sleep because she can’t see out really. I wish it folded lower so she could have some awake time looking around in it. But other than that, I love it and use it all the time!

It’s a dream!

I’ve been through and used a lot of carriers and this is my favorite by far! If I had known about this carrier with my first, I would have gotten the one and only to see me through, from front wearing to back wearing… I love how pretty it is and so easy to use!

Violet wings!

Literally the cutest and comfiest carrier EVER! Being a plus size girly (2x to 3x) it works great for me and there's still plenty of strap left after being tightened down! Baby is comfy in it and its very breathable ! Im sad I won't have anymore babies to carry in it once my youngest has grown!

excellent customer service

After trying a few different carriers w my first, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying using the Monarch carrier for my second. It’s easy to manage by yourself which is huge. But what I appreciate just as much is the excellent customer service. My carrier’s buckles were destroyed and the brand was able to help me and replace the carrier! They were quick to help me and it was very appreciated!
