HIP SAFETY

Hip safety comes down to correct positioning in any carrier, so it is essential to achieve the deep seat or “M” position- with baby’s knees higher than their bum, and weight supported primarily by the bum, rather than under the knees. Check that your baby is in this deep seat position each time you place them in the carrier.

T.I.C.K.S.

TIGHT

Your carrier should be tight and hug baby close to your body. Ensure that you tighten straps to eliminate extra slack that could cause baby to slump down in the carrier, as this can hinder breathing.

IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES

You should always be able to see your baby’s face by simply glancing down. Do not eclose baby in carrier in such a way that you have to open the carrier to see baby’s face.

CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS

Your baby’s head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. Achieve this by positioning the carrier high on the natural waist. You should be ableto kiss your baby on the head or forehead easily.

KEEP CHIN OFF CHEST

Baby should never be curled in such a way that their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict the airway. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under the chin.

SUPPORTED BACK

In all positions, baby’s back should be supported in a natural C curve, without slumping or arching, and without excess room between baby and wearer

I’m obsessed. The colour is gorgeous (not too stark white with the black). Material is thick and feels of high quality.

The adjustable waist band is a game changer for comfort for baby and to move as they grow which is a feature i havent found in other carriers.

The shoulder straps are plush and very comfortable for extended carrying. Great value item!

I had baby 3 in December and with a toddler and preschooler, I needed both of my hands free. I had a previous wrap and I never felt confident wearing it. With the Mabe carrier, I feel confident and not to mention, it’s ADORABLE! I love it so much!!

I can’t rave enough about this carrier, customer service & COMPANY. The carrier itself is soft, easy to clean and rolls up to fit in my diaper bag.

My little guy loves this carrier and one of the buttons came off after a very short time. I emailed them on a Saturday evening and within 2 hours they had already responded and were sending me a new carrier. They were so compassionate and understanding. If you are considering this carrier just buy it. You will not regret this purchase and the company is amazing!

Love this baby carrier. My son is 6 months old and he loves being carried around and taking contact naps. He fits in it great when facing me but facing out he is a little too small and his neck is just over the top.
