Hip safety comes down to correct positioning in any carrier, so it is essential to achieve the deep seat or “M” position- with baby’s knees higher than their bum, and weight supported primarily by the bum, rather than under the knees. Check that your baby is in this deep seat position each time you place them in the carrier.

TIGHT
Your carrier should be tight and hug baby close to your body. Ensure that you tighten straps to eliminate extra slack that could cause baby to slump down in the carrier, as this can hinder breathing.
IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES
You should always be able to see your baby’s face by simply glancing down. Do not eclose baby in carrier in such a way that you have to open the carrier to see baby’s face.
CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS
Your baby’s head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. Achieve this by positioning the carrier high on the natural waist. You should be ableto kiss your baby on the head or forehead easily.
KEEP CHIN OFF CHEST
Baby should never be curled in such a way that their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict the airway. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under the chin.
SUPPORTED BACK
In all positions, baby’s back should be supported in a natural C curve, without slumping or arching, and without excess room between baby and wearer
Upon receiving our carrier, it was nearly perfect but the button was off on one side before we got to use it!! I contacted customer service and they quickly sent me a new one. We are excited to get some use out of our Mabe carrier! The brown color is so versatile and it feels very comfortable and I love the back carry option!

I absolutely LOVE this carrier! While shopping around I wanted something that would fit my plus sized body, be cute, and be safe for my baby. Mabē checks off all three flawlessly! I followed all of the tutorials but still felt that my baby was a little too low in the carrier so ai scheduled a fit consultation and Vanessa helped me out! I love this product and I love that the employees are so passionate about the product and about what they do.
I was skeptical when buying it because of all the paid influencers endorsing it on social media but I saw a girl in a store with one and she liked it so I went ahead and took a chance. After trying half a dozen carriers this is by far the best and the only one I’ll use. The baby doesent get over heated and sweaty in it like the others. It’s soo easy to put on by myself AND it’s pretty. I’m thinking of splurging and getting another color!
