HIP SAFETY

Hip safety comes down to correct positioning in any carrier, so it is essential to achieve the deep seat or “M” position- with baby’s knees higher than their bum, and weight supported primarily by the bum, rather than under the knees. Check that your baby is in this deep seat position each time you place them in the carrier.

T.I.C.K.S.

TIGHT

Your carrier should be tight and hug baby close to your body. Ensure that you tighten straps to eliminate extra slack that could cause baby to slump down in the carrier, as this can hinder breathing.

IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES

You should always be able to see your baby’s face by simply glancing down. Do not eclose baby in carrier in such a way that you have to open the carrier to see baby’s face.

CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS

Your baby’s head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. Achieve this by positioning the carrier high on the natural waist. You should be ableto kiss your baby on the head or forehead easily.

KEEP CHIN OFF CHEST

Baby should never be curled in such a way that their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict the airway. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under the chin.

SUPPORTED BACK

In all positions, baby’s back should be supported in a natural C curve, without slumping or arching, and without excess room between baby and wearer

Stunning + comfortable, I have 2 now!

I loved my original Mabē carrier so much that I bought a second one. It’s not only comfortable, but also so easy to get a good fit, and beautiful as well. I feel like a super mom when I wear it, and my baby gets to stay super close & cozy. I highly recommend them to all of my new mama friends!

Better than expected for new borns

I fits my newborn very nicely with the adjustable seat part for baby’s legs- granted I have a big baby- exited for this to grow with my little one! I love the color I own the checkered one and prefer to grab this one it’s so adorable and I get so many compliments. My baby is very comfy and sleeps great during outings. I use this alot because I also have a 2 year old child and it’s been a lifesaver. I prefer this carrier over cloth wraps because it doesn’t loosen up on me when I’m walking because I am top heavy in the chest.

Great product!

I love this carrier. My baby fits in it perfectly. She didn’t fit into any of the normal carriers in the baby stores, and they were all very complicated to put on. I was using a moby wrap before, which was great but took time to get on. This carrier is perfect for quickly strapping the baby to me to do some chores around the house. The weight of the baby sits on my hips/waist, so my back doesn’t hurt. Love it. Might buy a second one for my husband.

Favorite Carrier!

I have tried at least 5 or 6 carriers and this is my favorite one!! It goes on quick and easy. Baby (10 weeks) is very comfortable in it. I can be the most hands free with this carrier. Shipping was much faster than I expected and I get tons of compliments on this carrier! I have the mauve butterflies.
