HIP SAFETY

Hip safety comes down to correct positioning in any given carrier, so it is essential to achieve the deep seat or “M” position- with baby’s knees higher than their bum, and weight supported primarily by the bum, rather than under the knees. Check that your baby is in this deep seat position each time you place them in the carrier.

TIGHT

Your carrier should be tight and hug baby close to your body. Ensure that you tighten straps to eliminate extra slack that could cause baby to slump down in the carrier, as this can hinder breathing.

IN VIEW AT ALL TIMES

You should always be able to see your baby’s face by simply glancing down. Do not eclose baby in carrier in such a way that you have to open the carrier to see baby’s face.

CLOSE ENOUGH TO KISS

Your baby’s head should be as close to your chin as is comfortable. Achieve this by positioning the carrier high on the natural waist. You should be ableto kiss your baby on the head or forehead easily.

KEEP CHIN OFF CHEST

Baby should never be curled in such a way that their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict the airway. Ensure there is always a space of at least a finger width under the chin.

SUPPORTED BACK

In all positions, baby’s back should be supported in a natural C curve, without slumping or arching, and without excess room between baby and wearer

Love the print, but my baby hates it.

I want to love this carrier so bad! It’s so cute and comfy to wear. However, my baby does not like it. I think I may have to return it.

I had a different carrier prior to getting this and hated it. Couldn’t ever baby wear and find it comfortable. My baby is 18lbs and this carrier is incredible. It’s so comfortable and I regret not getting it earlier. The cross straps make it so my back doesn’t hurt, and putting this carrier on by myself is so easy.

Love!

Pre ordered dream wash denim so I had it in time for my first babies arrival, it gets used everyday and is my favorite piece for my baby by far. Recently wine got spilt on it and I couldn’t get all of the stain out so I will be purchasing another color!

Good carrier

I got this because it seemed simpler and easier to put on than some of the other carriers out there. It’s also super cute! It is comfortable and the material is soft. I have a 5 wk old who fits in it but I think she’s still too small for it based on how her legs and hips fit (even after adjusting the Velcro), but it’s worth keeping for when she’s older/bigger.
